There has been much discussion on funding Planned Parenthood. Are they just an abortion clinic? Is Abortion a minor piece of what they do? Why do they offer Abortions? These answers have been debated over the years as Conservatives move to cut Federal Funding for Planned Parenthood and Liberal Democrats look to expand the funding.

I recently attended a lecture by Ryan Scott Bomberger, Founder of the radiance Foundation. He is Afro American and offers information that might help settle the discussion. Though I feel it just further incite the Liberal mind.

Planned Parenthood was started by Margaret Sanger. Many people consider her purpose was to eliminate the Black race. However if the truth be known it is best explained in an interview with Mike Wallace of 60 Minutes fame. In 1957 she said “I think the greatest sin in the world is bringing children into the world — that have disease from their parents, that have no chance in the world to be a human being practically. Delinquents, prisoners, all sorts of things just marked when they’re born. That to me is the greatest sin — that people can commit.” She was one on many who followed the philosophy of “eugenics”.

Planned Parenthood has located most if not all of their centers in or near poor neighborhoods. They have been most successful in aborting babies. Bomberger cites the fact that there were 259,336 black babies aborted in 2014. To put that in prospective there were 73,095 Black deaths from Heart Disease, 69,090 deaths from Cancer and 14,135 black deaths from accidents… Homicides in the Black community for the same time period were 7,903. Less than 5,000 Black people died from drug use and an additional 3,591 deaths from HIV. The total deaths in the Black community from other than abortion totaled 246,122 people. Compare that to the almost 260,000 deaths from abortion. It appears the greatest threat to black lives is Planned Parenthood.

During the period from 1990 through 2016 Planned Parenthood’s abortions grew from 129,170 to 321,384 abortions.  Yet Planned Parenthood claims Abortions are not a major concern in the care of women. They claim the other services they offered are of major importance. Yet facts contradict that idea also. Between 2006 and 2016 their Breast Screenings dropped 62% from 882,961 to336, 614 screenings. Pap tests had a similar drop. In 2006 they conducted 1,070449 pap tests. 10 years later it was down 72% to 281,063 tests. Colposcopy procedures (follow abnormal pap tests down for the same period from 47,557 procedures to 16,716 or a drop of 65%. Their prenatal care services had a bumpy ride during those 10 years. In 2006 they offered prenatal care to 11,958 patients. By 2009 it grew to 40,489 patients. Yet by 2016 it dropped to 7,762 patients. Facts override deception. To quote Bomberger, we have become “Factivists’ not “Activists”.

Should Planned Parenthood change their name to Planned Population Reduction Program? Should they continue to get Federal Funding- You decide!!!!!
